The Yak Pack is currently looking for people to add to our pack of kayak anglers. We are looking for local anglers who would like to meet other anglers at various locations along the central coast. It would be a great way to learn more about fishing in the area and meet new people with similar interests. Sometimes the hardest part is finding people who are available to go out on some of the nicest days.
Next Yak Pack meeting or Pack Assault is going to be on TBA.
Here are some of the ideas:
- The Yak Pack will be holding free meetings every month or whenever.
- The meetings will have fish talks, rigging seminars, tackle talk, hot bite of the month, regulation changes, etc.
- Local guests or anyone attending will provide information on targeting key specific species.
- Tackle raffles and giveaways once a month or not.
- Meets and mini-assault derbies all year long in many different locations up and down the coast.
- Any style of fishing is welcome. Freshwater kayak fishing is cool too.
- We will have a large emphasis on kayak fishing, rigging and techniques.
- Any cool pics taken by The Yak Pack will be included on upcoming meeting fliers and posted on www.CayucosSportfishing.com
- Browse through literature, maps and pictures.
- Come join the pack and meet some local anglers. The Yak Pack guarantees you will learn something new at each meeting or fishing adventure.
- One goal for The Yak Pack is to get an extra kayak set up for fishing with rod and reel, so people can take out their friends out too. Rod and Reel already donated.
- If you're not interested in meetings, but would like to setup or join us in a kayak fishing adventure that's o.k. too. We want to hear from you.
- Fish more days and with The Yak Pack we will find them faster.
